Research in a university-context inevitably involves some level of classroom engagement. There are a range of resources available to help you develop the necessary skills to convey complex research to students, both in person and online in blended learning environments. Academic Staff Development coordinate the Starting to Teach Programme and run a series of corresponding CREATE (Cultivating Research and Teaching Excellence) sessions. If you require training in using technology in the classroom please refer to the Technology Enhanced Learning category. All listed activities have been mapped against the Vitae Researcher Development Framework (RDF).
Please note this is not a complete list of available training. New activities will be listed as they become available throughout the year.
