Have you made exciting discoveries that you want to share? Feeling the pressure to 'get published' in high ranking journals? Quality Papers examines the structure of a paper and provides tips for streamlining your thinking, writing and editing. Doing so can help you write with greater speed and confidence and increase your chance of getting published in your target journals.

Please be prepared to bring to this course:


  1. An idea for a paper
  2. Two to four papers recently published in your target journal.

On completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Evaluate what to publish in terms of message and findings
  • Develop strategies for writing quickly
  • Employ strategies to edit with confidence
  • Identify journal requirements and paper structures
  • Assess where best to publish your work
