Sharing doctoral researchers' journeys using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
Team Bristol Doctoral College
If you think LEGO® is just fun and games, think again. There's a lot more to it than meets the eye!
This is a workshop to help you reflect on your research, communicate your ideas, problem solve as well as collaborate and get inspired by peers across disciplines.
In this workshop we will:
Share doctoral researchers’ journeys with peers from across the institution
Discuss personal challenges and dilemmas during doctoral studies
Explore support needs and strategies during the doctoral journey
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is a creative process in which participants learn to build representations of their ideas or experiences using LEGO®. It is an enjoyable and insightful way for people to share their ideas, collaborate, and reflect on their experiences and working practices.
No technical or building skills are required. Just an open mind to use LEGO®, share your creations with others and engage in conversations around these!
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® has been used with numerous companies and organisations, but also more recently for learning and teaching in higher education and as a tool for social research.
This workshop is led by Dr Chrissi Nerantzi, an experienced and accredited LSP facilitator.
