This course is for any individual who has been given the responsibility to carry out workstation risk assessments for their team or workplace. The course has been updated to cover New Ways of Working (if relevant to attendees).
This course aims to provide participants with:
an awareness of the health effects associated with using display screen equipment (DSE)
the knowledge to set up a workstation correctly and make adjustments as necessary
an understanding of the role and responsibilites of a DSE assessor
practical advice relating to managing the DSE risk assessment process, setting up workstations and providing advice to colleagues on matters relating to DSE

Have a think about any questions you have or DSE/workstation related situations you’d like to discuss when you attend the course
Preventing and managing ill health and other problems associated with using DSE is key. At the end of this course the DSE assessor will be able to coordinate the DSE risk assessment process locally and provide advice and support to colleagues on DSE related matters.
Course chargesCancellation fee: Your Division/Faculty will incur a £50 charge should you fail to attend on the day or cancel your place any later than three full working days before the course.
