Change is increasingly becoming ‘business as usual.’ This course is aimed at further developing the skills and knowledge of HR Business Partners to support the management of and / or delivery of change more effectively.
This interactive 2-hour online course will provide you with insights into how people experience change, explain the approach we’ve developed within the University’s Change team for managing change and share some tools and ideas to take back to your workplace.
The course will be interactive, and cater for different learning styles. The models and theories drawn on through the session provide a framework and insights for attendees to use to understand the realities of change affecting themselves, their teams and the University.

What to do before you attend: Delegates will receive brief pre-reading prior to the session.

What you need to know
Cancellation fee: Your Division/Faculty will incur a £50 charge should you fail to attend on the day or cancel your place any later than three full working days before the course.
Sickness: If you are unable to attend the course due to sickness, please can you or a member of your team notify us by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible on the day of the course, if not before.
Waiting list: Staff Development will operate a waiting list should this course become full. Because of this, places are non-transferable between colleagues.
How you book
Development courses should be discussed as part of a development plan agreed with your manager.
Each course will be open for bookings at 9 am on the day 8 weeks prior to the course date. If this date falls on a University closure day, the course will be released on the next working day.
