Line Managing @UoB: Staff review and development conversations
Team Staff Development
Covid-19 Response This course has been paused as the content is not currently deemed suitable for online delivery. Resources will be uploaded here, when they are available.
The workshop aims to support managers in conducting 1-1 conversations and annual Staff Review and Development conversations; to ensure that managers have regular conversations with their staff, and adopt a consistent approach to the process; and to refresh/enhance managers' skills and confidence in conducting effective conversations, to make them meaningful, constructive and supportive.
Please note that although this workshop will touch on the MyReview tool, the focus is on enhancing skills in conducting effective staff review and development conversations, in both 1-1s and the annual review, not on the how to navigate the MyReview tool. For guidance and support on using the MyReview tool, please see the MyReview User Guide and FAQs.
