Covid-19 Response This course will be run as two online webinars combined with an e-learning module and self-directed learning.
Course overview This course will assume some knowledge of the project life-cycle and will utilise the standard University project documentation templates. The course is intended for those who want to gain an understanding of project tools and stages, and have a live project or piece of work outside their normal processes, to apply the tools to. Please come prepared to discuss a project you are currently involved in.

Who this course is aimed at: This course is open to Professional Services staff who are currently managing a project.If you book a place and do not meet this criteria your booking will be cancelled. If you are not within this criteria but feel you would benefit from attending this course please contact Staff Development to discuss.
Course structure This course is made up of 4 parts: 1.An e-learning module - details will be in your joining instructions email. Please complete prior to attending the first workshop. 2. An introductory workshop (45 mins) 3. A self-study workbook 4. A ‘Review of Learning’ workshop (1 hr 30)
Please make sure you can attend both workshop dates before signing up, and add these to your calendar as soon as you've booked a place.
What you need to know Cancellation fee: Your Division/Faculty will incur a £50 chargeshould you fail to attend on the day or cancel your place any later than three full working days before the course.
Sickness: If you are unable to attend the course due to sickness, please can you or a member of your team notify us by email (email@example.com) as soon as possible on the day of the course, if not before.
Waiting list: Staff Development will operate a waiting list should this course become full. Because of this, places are non-transferable between colleagues.
How you book Development courses should be discussed as part of a development plan agreed with your manager.
Each course will be open for bookings at 9 am on the day 8 weeks prior to the course date. If this date falls on a University closure day, the course will be released on the next working day.
