Ethics and the publishing of scientific articles:

This course will focus on what constitutes appropriate behaviour when preparing data for publication and thesis write-up; real cases of scientific fraud, caught by journal editors before article publication, will be presented. The aim of the course is to present students with a clear picture of what is "research misconduct" and what is fabrication and falsification in reporting research results.
