Course overview

An area that managers often ask for support for from HR is writing job descriptions. This can be quite a daunting task for managers when starting from scratch and whilst HR can help, often it is the manager that is best placed and knows the job they want done. We are therefore offering this job description writing workshop for recruiting managers.

The aim of the workshop is:

  • To identify the best practice approach for developing a job description
  • To explore the best way to market a role within the job description
  • To understand how the university job evaluation framework plays into drafting a job description
