This workshop will introduce scripting with Python.  Python is a simple yet powerful scripting language.  This workshop will provide a first introduction to Python, showing you how to write your first programs, demonstrating how Python can be very useful for automating repetitive tasks, processing text and acting as a glue between other programmes such as in BlueCrystal job scripts.
Pre-Requisites No previous programming experience is required.
